I have notecards, quilts, artwork and soon mini quilts and smaller works of art. Welcome Anji is a classically trained artist from California Institute of the Arts. Her specialty has been pet portraits and wildlife illustration . At the beginning of 2006 she changed mediums from traditional to textiles. She believes creating art quilts allows her to use all her talents. This change has brought her many awards and oppportunities. She has exhibited in juried national shows and is starting to show in galleries. She is currently creating a consistent body of work with a narrow subject matter of exploring the relationships we have with cats and the pet-human bond. As a foster mom to sick and injured cats, she combines her love of art and animals. Each month she takes a new technique tries to master it. This gives her flexability and tools to draw upon. Then as a teacher she gives back what she learns in her workshops. She invites everyone to join her in a wonderful journey.
